Can a hairstyle cross the boundaries of fashion and beauty to become an art work?
After I observed the photo gallery Portraits with Hairstyles by Petr Dmitrev, I can easily say Yes. The ability and the skills of the Russian Art Director from St. Petersburg in fact transformed some primitive looks in sculptural and scenical masterpieces. The photo shots, predominantly in black and white, display masterly embroideries and precious weaving using the braiding technique.
Puo' un'acconciatura superare il confine di moda e bellezza e diventare addirittura un'opera d'arte?
Dopo aver osservato gli scatti delle pettinature Portraits with Hairstyles realizzate da Petr Dmitrev, posso affemare con certezza di sì. L'abilita' e la maestria dell'Art Director russo di San Pietroburgo, sono riuscite infatti a rendere dei look primitivi piu' sculturali e scenici che mai. Le fotografie, per la grande maggioranza in bianco e nero, rivelano sapienti ricami e ricercati intrecci realizzati con un'avanzata conoscenza della tecnica del braiding, ovvero delle cosiddette treccioline.
